    Puberty can be a scary, overwhelming time for girls, who suddenly gain entirely new body parts and begin a monthly bleeding cycle that never gets any more fun.

    And according to a new survey by BodyLogicMD, one of the most nerve-wracking parts of the experience may actually be caused by the very tool mean to make mensuration easier.

    The survey found that of the 91.4 per cent of women who say they've used a tampon at some point in their lives, a whopping 69.6 per cent were afraid the first time they tried one.
